FAQs

Your location is perfect! Why are you only open a for a few weeks a year?

Our site is primarily a hay growing farm site.  We operate under permitted development rights which allows us to do something a little bit different to the site for just a few weeks every year.

What facilities are there on site?

We are a pop up site with basic facilities.  These include a toilet trailer block with separate male and female toilets, individual portable shower units and drinking water points. We also have a small shop selling basic food, Ice creams, cold drinks, kids toys and camping essentials, you can even charge your mobile phone, so you wont really need to leave the site if you don’t want to.

Can I have electric?

Yes! Due to the popularity of the electric pitches last year we now have more of them. They will be a 16amp hook up, bell tents will not need to bring their own leads however, standard tent or motorhome pitches will.

What’s included in my bell tent?

Standard and large electric bell tents will not have any bedding in unless selected as an optional extra. Large electric bell tents will have a power supply within them. This year we’ve added on a deluxe twin bell tent which will have a double bed with bedding, towels, cool box, camping furniture, a 2 burner stove, utensils/cutlery, a camping heater, pots and pans, tea, coffee and sugar canisters, a kitchen worktop, camping kettle, cups and plates, a lantern, bunting and a mat.

How much space will there be?

People love our site because of how much space there is.  If we are full then each pitch will still have an average space of 12m x 15m each however on most dates we’re able to accomodate more space if needed.  In addition there is plenty of extra space for dog walking and recreation.

Can I bring my Dog?

Yes.

Can I have a pitch next door to my friends/family?

Yes, no problem.  We don’t have fixed points for pitches, on arrival you will be offered anywhere within the 12 acres allocated for camping.  Don’t worry, about loosing out on room if you come late,  even at capacity we still have plenty of space for you to spread out. Any bell tents and/or electric pitches we will attempt to have as close as possible but please note, electric points and bell tents are in fixed locations. Any special requests can be put in the comments section when putting your details in for booking.

Do you allow caravans and motorhomes?

Yes, motorhomes are free to book under the ‘grass pitch for tent or motorhome’ however, caravans must book under ‘grass caravan pitch with electric’.

Can I use a firepit?

Unfortunately ‘NO’ fires this year. Raised off the ground BBQ’s are permitted, fire pits are not.
