FAQs

What precautions are you taking for Covid-19

We are adhering to the Visit England ‘Good to go’ guidelines for accomodation.  In affect this will mean pitches being spaced atleast 6 metres (ideally 10 metres) apart.  Extra cleaning of toilets, showers and taps, extra hand washing/sanitising stations and 2 metre markers for where queue need to form.  All of our staff have been trained in current Covid-19 legislation and will make sure your safety always comes first.  Do get in touch if you have any more specific questions and our Covid-19 safe plans.

Your location is perfect! Why are you only open a for a few weeks a year?

Our site is primarily a hay growing farm site.  We operate under permitted development rights which allows us to do something a little bit different to the site for just a few weeks every year.

What facilities are there on site?

We are a pop up site with basic facilities.  These include a toilet trailer block with seperate male and female toilets, individual portable shower units and drinking water points.  For 2020 we also have a small shop selling basic food and camping essentials so you wont really need to leave the site if you don’t want to.

How much space will there be?

People love our site because of how much space there is.  If we are full then each pitch will still have an average space of over 20 x 20 metres each.  In addition there is plenty of extra space for dog walking and recreation.

Can I bring my Dog?

Yes.

Can I have a pitch next door to my friends/family?

Yes, no problem.  We don’t have fixed points for pitches, on arrival you will be offered anywhere within the 12 acres allocated for camping.  Don’t worry, about loosing out on room if you come late,  even at capacity we still have plenty of space for you to spread out.  Any special requests can be put in the comments section when putting your details in for booking.

Do we allow caravans and motorhomes?

Yes, but due to the rules on which we operate we are only able to allow a small number of touring vehicles on site.  To book your caravan or motorhome onto the site please select touring pitch after choosing your dates from the booking portal above- if no touring vehicle option is avialalbe then it means we have sadly met our allocated capacity for those dates.

What do you mean by a pitch?

A pitch refers to one tent, caravan, or motorhome which is being used for accomodation.  We don’t charge extra for small gazebos, or toilet tents.  When booking on you are able to select the unit type.

Can I use a firepit?

Unfortunately not this year. Raised off the ground BBQ’s are permitted however, firepits are not.
